On Friday the 21 February our Woodstock Residential Care Home residents got the opportunity to hold some unusual animals as we welcomed Zoolab to our Home.
Zoolab offer hands-on encounters with a range of creatures, where everyone gets to touch the animals and learn more about them.
We welcomed a giant snail, giant centipede, reptiles, a rat and a tarantula – just some of the amazing animals we got to hold. They were so fascinating.
These animal therapy sessions help stimulate our residents as they engage with the animals, and they are a great way to bring people together to learn new things and see things with a different perspective.
