On Sunday 1 May our residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home let their ‘inner florist’ shine out as we organised some lovely flower displays to brighten up our Home for the Royal Horticultural Society’s ‘National Gardening Week‘.
We got together a gorgeous selection of flowers to chose from and began to carefully place them in arrangements to compliment each other.
We have displayed our beautiful bouquets around our Home and have them on our dining room tables as some lovely centrepieces. It is so wonderful to see the bright blooms and pops of colour.
This activity was a lovely way for us to get together for a chat, and we all discussed what our favourite flowers were, including daffodils, poppies and roses.
Such a therapeutic activity – we clearly have some talented florists at Woodstock!
