On Tuesday 21 March our residents got together to help clean our brass ornaments at Woodstock Residential Care Home.
We used Brasso and cloths (and a lot of elbow grease!) to buff them and make them shine.
Our ladies and gents reminisced about their own brass at home on the fireplace, talking about their techniques of cleaning it to a high standard as part of the weekly household duties.
Dennis explained to everybody that he felt there was a certain technique to getting the best shine and really took his time to clean in all the nooks and crannies to get an amazing gleam.
