Last week at Woodstock Residential Care Home, we all got together to make some tasty treats to sell to our staff and families to help raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society as we joined in with their ‘Bake For Dementia’ event.
We are pleased to have raised an amazing £60 from our delicious bakes which included pizza, cookies, scones and cupcakes. We really enjoyed making them, and then tasting them with our families when they came to visit.
Our own Cook made a beautiful cake to raffle off as a prize. We sold raffle tickets to win the cake for a donation to the charity that is close to all of our hearts.
We are always happy to help raise money for this amazing charity and look forward to raising more in the future. Thank you to all our families and staff for their generous donations – we couldn’t have done it without them.
We are very proud of our achievements and of our residents for baking such yummy masterpieces! Well done everyone!
