On Tuesday 25 January we celebrated Burns Night with our residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home, with a Scottish-themed photoshoot.
We dressed up in a tartan hat (with added hair!) and put on our best smiles. We all had a great giggle seeing each other dressed up in character!
Scottish haggis was on the menu too and we enjoyed tasting the traditional dish.
We share an interest in poetry and read some of Robert Burns’ poems – and were so impressed when Kate gave us a rendition of one of his famous pieces.
This was such a lovely way to explore different traditions, encourage conversation and share experiences.
