Homemade advert calendar
We’ve made our own Christmas countdown advent calendar for our residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home.
We created it using paper cups stacked up to make our own Christmas tree (with treats!). Each cup has been closed with tissue paper so it can be broken into on each day of the month.
Wendy was our first resident to start off the Christmas countdown with a December 1st opening – she received a delicious chocolate goodie!
Each of our residents will take it in turns to open each day in the countdown to Christmas!
Festive Christmas trees
Our residents helped to decorate our Home in festive cheer this week too, when we put up our trees and decorations to get us in the Christmas spirit!
We all enjoyed a glass of Baileys and some chocolates when we’d finished ‘decking the halls’!
Woodstock is now officially ready for Santa to visit!
