On Wednesday 7 September everyone at Woodstock Residential Care Home celebrated National Beer Lover’s Day with a variety of different beers to choose from.
Everyone enjoyed testing different local beers from our brilliant beer trolley.
We had a few favourites on the day including Old Speckled Hen, Spitfire and Newcastle Brown Ale – and of course a shandy was a popular tipple.
We all enjoyed crisps and pretzels alongside our beers and spoke about our favourite drinks and reminisced about days in the pub.
