It was time for our ladies and gents to show us their prepping skills this week during our Cooking Club at Woodstock Residential Care Home.
We all mucked in peeling potatoes, carrots and parsnips to create a tasty vegetable soup.
Damon, our Head Chef, joined in with us, cutting them as we were peeling. He gave us lots of advice and tricks for a good soup, and we shared all our tips with each other, reminiscing on times cooking for the whole family.
We enjoyed the vegetable soup at tea time, and we all approved!
