This week is National Doughnut Week and at Woodstock Residential Care Home we didn’t want to miss out on an excuse to enjoy the sweet treats!
We set up an eye-catching doughnut trolley and went around our Home to tempt our residents with lots of different doughnuts including jam, custard and iced-sprinkled. Yum!
Our ladies and gents all enjoyed choosing which one they would like and reminiscing about the sweet treats from their childhood. There were lots of sticky fingers and sugary lips!
We also created a ‘doughnut hoopla‘ for everybody to enjoy a bit of friendly competition – it was lots of fun and we all enjoyed cheering each other on.
