On Monday 29 May we got creative decorating biscuits at Woodstock Residential Care Home for National Biscuit Day.
National Biscuit Day, which is celebrated annually each May, is a British holiday that allows everyone to appreciate the biscuit and all its various types and flavours.
We all love a biscuit at Woodstock so this was a perfect day for us to decorate our favourite biscuits with extra toppings to make them even yummier. We used icing sugar, sprinkles, chocolate drops and icing pens to create our beautiful biscuits and they really did look good enough to eat!
After finishing our biscuits we gave a helping hand to our Kitchen Team, by decorating some delicious cupcakes too!
Everyone got stuck in and thoroughly enjoyed getting creative with designing and helping with the cupcakes. We served them with a lovely cup of tea and chatted about our baking days.
What a lovely activity for creativity – our residents were proud to have been a part of it.
