Our New Year celebrations began here at Woodstock Residential Care Home during an arts and crafts session when we came together to create New Year cards, hats and a big 2023 sign!
We coloured in cards and wrote messages to our families with warm wishes for the new year. We also got different coloured tissue paper and scrunched it up to create stars and a big ‘2023’ to decorate our dining room mirror.
Our residents then got creative making hats from paper plates and card, decorating them with glitter, paints and pencils.
Everyone enjoyed talking about their New Year’s resolutions and looked forward to wearing their hats during our party with family and friends.
