One hundred laps for Sir Tom at Woodstock Residential Care Home

On Friday 5 February, our residents and staff at Woodstock Residential Care Home got together to complete 100 laps of our dining room in memory of Captain Sir Tom Moore, with the aim of raising funds for a good cause.

Everyone had their own card to get stamped and between us all we managed over 100 laps during the course of the afternoon, which we were thrilled about!

We all had so much fun as we enjoyed each other’s company and completed our circuits. We played ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone‘ as we walked around our dining area and made a special banner for the occasion, which we’ll hang outside our Home for everyone to see.

We are going to ask family and friends to make a small donation to a lovely cause in remembrance of a truly inspirational man, who made everyone feel very proud to live in England in these challenging times. Well done everyone!
