On Friday 3 May at Woodstock Residential Care Home we spent a lovely morning tile painting with a group of children from Little Squirrels Nursery. We used flower pictures for inspiration and created a lovely selection of colourful tiles.
We also enjoyed some singing and dancing with the children during their visit, which was great fun.
Our residents always love seeing the children and we have really built up a lovely friendship with them and their teachers.
Bread making
Over the bank holiday we have been making bread for everyone to try. Our residents loved taking part in this activity, adding the ingredients to our bread maker and enjoying the amazing aroma from the bread – and of course eating it too! Delicious! We are looking forward to baking another batch soon.
