Planting seeds and mini golf at Woodstock Residential Care Home

Not just for green fingers!

On Tuesday 6 April residents here at Woodstock Residential Care Home had an exciting day of planting seeds including runner beans, tomatoes and courgettes. We all enjoyed having a chat and reminiscing, sharing gardening stories.

We had lots of laughs and enjoyed each others company. Gardening doesn’t have to be just for those who have experienced green fingers – all you need is enthusiasm!

Once we had planted seeds into each little pot, we gave them some water and sat back and had a nice cup of tea and cake. We cant wait to see our hard work take action and seeing our seeds take shoot!

Practising our swing

On Wednesday 7 April residents got competitive and gave their best shot in Woodstock’s mini golf competition. We made our own version of mini golf (getting creative using paints!) to bring you Woodstock’s ‘Putt Hut’.

Residents enjoyed competing in games and cheering each other on when they achieved high scores. Daphne was our winner of the day and received some chocolate treats as her prize!

Well done everyone and well done Daphne!
