On Tuesday 28 June we created two sensory games for our residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home.
The first was a game called ‘What’s in the bag?’. Our residents had to reach into a bag and describe all of the different things they could feel. We then revealed what was in the bag and had a good laugh about some of the guesses that had been made!
The second game involved residents putting their hands in a tub of bubbly water and having to reach around and find the two balls at the bottom.
The smell of the bubbles and textures and colours of the balls stimulated sight, smell and touch. We all had fun getting our hands all bubbly!
