On Friday 21 October, our Woodstock Residential Care Home team raised £60 for our ‘Wear It Pink’ Day to raise awareness for Breast Cancer.
Staff made a donation to this good cause to wear their PJs on the day for a bit of fun and we had lots of literature on hand highlighting how to know the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, to promote early detection.
Everyone enjoyed a pink-themed afternoon tea with pink cakes, pink feather bowers and pink sparkling drinks.
We also held a staff raffle with a chance to win a gorgeous hamper with everything pink; Kathryn was our lucky winner. Well done Kathryn!
