On Monday 15 June we held a fantastic ‘Alzheimer’s Cupcake Day’ here at Woodstock Residential Care Home to raise awareness of the Alzheimer’s Society.
We invited singer Rick Steels to perform in our garden for our residents seated in the conservatory. They enjoyed our Cook Lyn’s homemade cupcakes with a cup of tea while they watched the entertainment.
This was the first time we have had an entertainer visit our Home since the lockdown began and everyone had a wonderful time singing along.
We are also planning to hold a coffee morning to raise money for the Alzheimers Society as soon as lockdown is over.
