Pirates invaded Woodstock Residential Care Home on Monday 8 March and jumped aboard HMS Woodstock!
“The pirates held our Captain Charles hostage and demanded a ransom of 5,000 gold coins!
Can the residents of Woodstock manage to get him back in time to captain the ship for our trip to India on Wednesday?!”
We had lots of fun watching the Pirate Pantomime ‘Treasure Island‘ on the big television in our lounge together.
Our staff dressed up as pirates and helped our residents join in. This later turned into balloon games, sword fights and even water pistol fights! Everyone was in brilliant high spirits!
We rounded the day off by singing some old classic pub songs.
Shiver me timbers, there was great fun to be had when pirates invaded Woodstock!
