We’ve recently run a questionnaire for our residents’ feedback and one of our ladies, Joan, expressed how she would love to hold an art class at Woodstock Residential Care Home for her fellow residents.
We sat down with her and had a creative session to discuss what she would like to teach and demonstrate.
Joan decided that she would like to show her talent in clay and would like to try and share her skills. We gathered some of our residents and let Joan take the lead to demonstrate how to create sculptures of faces.
All our residents really enjoyed learning a new skill, being creative and getting their hands messy!
