Our Woodstock Residential Care Home residents got to take part in Kitchen Club this week, making pies for British Pie Week.
They created wonderful apple pies, blackcurrant and apple pies and cherry pies to celebrate the occasion.
They cut pastry into circles and put them into greased tins, added the filling and put the pastry lids on top with a sprinkle of sugar to make sure they were nice and sweet.
After they had baked in the oven we were able to go around our Home and let everyone try them. These pies warmed our tummies and were a lovely treat for the afternoon. Delicious!
