On Sunday 2 May our residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home had a relaxing afternoon decorating suncatchers.
As the weather is brightening up, we thought we would create suncatchers to add a little more sparkle and colour to our Home.
We got creative using paper plates, first cutting out the insides of them and then adding some clear plastic instead.
Our residents then stuck tissue paper, sequins and glitter into the middle section of their plates so that light could pass through them.
We will hang them up in our windows so the sunlight can shine through.
We had a lovely afternoon as a group chatting and laughing with friends. We enjoyed cups of tea and listening to classic tunes from the 60s and 70s – perfect!Â
