On Tuesday 7 September a group of our residents from Woodstock Residential Care Home went out to Maidstone for a Kingfisher boat trip and what a lovely day it was for it!
The sun was shining as they enjoyed a beautiful tour along the river Medway.
We saw all the beautiful swans and ducks, and even spotted a kingfisher!
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the excursion, admiring all the boats along the river edge.
We enjoyed a few nibbles too, including crisps, cake, cheese swirls and chocolate while sharing stories of our experiences on boats. It was such a beautiful day, with lots of laughs.
All the Kingfisher staff on the boat were so friendly and we can’t wait to go again!
