On Thursday 20 May here at Woodstock Residential Care Home we had a fabulous afternoon with a live streamed performance on YouTube from singer Rob T.
We all enjoyed singing and dancing along to our favourite songs including ‘Pack Up Your Troubles’, ‘All Shook Up’ and ‘Sweet Caroline’. We were able to request songs through text messages to Rob on the day and he was fantastic!
Family and friends of residents at Woodstock were also able to send requests and ‘shout outs’ as they were able to watch the link on YouTube from home too. This was a brilliant way to involve families, as it has been so long since they have been able to join us for one of our lively events.
Our residents loved hearing messages and song requests for them from their family members – it really did brighten the day!
