On Wednesday 6 April our residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home made some impressive Easter bonnets!
They enjoyed carefully decorating their own hats individually and enjoyed chatting away with friends as they admired each other’s handiwork.
We all enjoyed adding Easter themed decorations to make them stand out, including little yellow chicks, bunny rabbits, easter stickers, carrots, nests and eggs to create our own unique designs. We also added colourful straw and yellow feathers to make our bonnets really eye-catching!
They were so beautiful and everyone impressed each other with all the designs. We will be looking forward to be wearing them in the run up to Easter and can’t wait to show them off.
This was such a lovely activity, with everyone chatting away to each other, talking about Easter. It was very therapeutic too as we concentrated and focused on our creativity.
We are all really looking forward to Easter!
