Our Woodstock Residential Care Home residents have been very busy over the last couple of weeks, getting ready for our Cruise to India.
We have made clay Diwali pots, played ‘pin the trunk on the elephant‘, had Pirates come and kidnap our Captain and played a rousing game of cricket to win him back!
We’ve also decked our Home in bright decorations and enjoyed dressing in Indian clothes.
On Wednesday 10 March we set sail to India with our trusty Captain Charles steering the ship!
We had lots of fun on the day with our very own elephant meeting all our residents! We also enjoyed eating delicious Indian food, made by our Cook Lynn, which included curry, samosas and naan bread.
We can’t wait to reach our next destination as we travel around the world with Nellsar Cruises!
