Our residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home helped make bird feeders for our garden this week.
We covered plastic cups with peanut butter and then rolled them in bird seed for a delicious treat for our feathered friends. We also made fat balls using lard and seed. This was a fun and messy activity, with all hands on deck!
We put them in the fridge for 24 hours to set and then hung them on the trees around our garden and on the bird tables so our ladies and gents can watch the birds though the windows.
This is a great way to help wildlife during the winter months and we can’t wait to spot any visitors!
