As World Chocolate Day was on Tuesday 7 July, we decided to celebrate last weekend by making our very own chocolate Rice Krispie cakes at Woodstock Residential Care Home.
We started off breaking the chocolate into small chunks, then we popped it in the microwave to melt.
We sat in a group and everyone had a go at mixing in the Rice Krispies to create the celebration cakes. We carefully placed them into cupcake cases and then delicately added some mini marshmallows to the top. Finally we put them in the fridge to set.
Everyone who joined in the session had a great laugh working as a team and enjoyed using the ingredients.
Everyone couldn’t wait to dig in! We had plenty to go around for the evening at Woodstock…they were a very big hit!
