Highsted Grammar School recently got in touch with us at Woodstock Residential Care Home to say that their sixth form students had created some lovely festive hampers for our residents.
The hampers were beautifully wrapped and decorated with wrapping paper and bows and our residents were delighted to find treats inside including toiletries, chocolates, Christmas cake and some festive drinks. These goodies have been shared around our Home and were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
Year 8 students at Highsted had also made some beautiful cards that had been personalised for each of our residents. This thoughtful gesture brought a tear to some of our residents’ eyes and one resident said “It makes me feel all warm inside reading their lovely messages”.
