Words of wisdom from Woodstock Residential Care Home residents

Last week we spent time with our residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home, asking them about kindness and what lesson they’d learnt it life.

We asked them to answer two questions – ‘What advice would you give your younger self?‘ and ‘What does kindness mean to you?‘.

Here are some of their lovely answers:

• Jenny: “Just take care and don’t go mad in a car!”
• Pete: “Knuckle down and get on with it, stop moaning!”
• Irene: “Always smile when talking to someone.”
• Muriel: “Have a nice large drink!”
• Athena: “Be nice to people.”

We made an eye-catching display to show everyone the comments our residents made. Wise words!
