On Friday 13 May our residents enjoyed sampling delicious cocktails from our specially decorated drinks trolley here at Woodstock Residential Care Home, in celebration of World Cocktail Day.
We made our own versions of famous mocktails which included Pina Colada which we called ‘Care Caribbean’, a tasty ‘Nellsar Napoleon’ which was our version of the Cosmopolitan and the wonderful ‘Woodstock Woo Woo’, our version of On the Beach.
Everyone enjoyed tasting all these yummy concoctions and we all had a giggle and laugh chatting about our favourite cocktails.
We decorated our cocktail trolley with lots of colour, flowers and greenery to create our own special bar on wheels ‘Woodstock Cocktails’ and had a lovely time sharing out our cocktails and singing along to some music.
