On Friday 28 January we hosted an ‘ABBAsolutley fabulous’ live stream party at Woodstock Residential Care Home presented by The National Activity Providers Association (NAPA).
NAPA is the UK’s leading activity and engagement charity that supports care services to prioritise wellbeing and promote activity, arts, and engagement; their UK-wide online party was organised in celebration of Activity Providers everywhere.
Our residents and staff had a great time dressing up for the event in gorgeous ABBA costumes, including sequined jumpsuits, pretty ponchos, retro glasses and inflatable instruments!
We decorated around our Home to add to the disco theme, with a backdrop and shimmery curtain.
It was amazing that we were able to join in with things like this over a live stream, as it keeps us connected to other Nellsar Homes!
Everyone embraced their ‘inner dancing queen‘ and enjoyed having a boogie with friends.
We all enjoyed singing along with karaoke microphones to our ABBAsolute favourites, including ‘Dancing Queen’, ‘Mamma Mia’ and ‘Chiquita’. So much fun!
