On Sunday 24 January we added the finishing touches to our ‘creative aquariums’ here at Woodstock Residential Care Home.
We all had fun and a relaxing afternoon colouring in fish and sea creatures to bring our creations to life. We also enjoyed singing along to music and having a chat with friends while we created our underwater scenes.
After we coloured in a list of creatures including fish, seaweed, shells, crabs and seahorses, we carefully cut them out so we could position them swimming in our aquariums.
We added blue string to the fish and hung them from the top of the box to create the illusion that they were floating in the water.
Each of our aquariums has a different background and a range of beautiful coloured fish.
They look so effective and we all had great fun making them!
