On Tuesday 19 April, Daphne celebrated her 99th birthday at Woodstock Residential Care Home!
She received a personalised card from staff and friends at Woodstock, with pictures of her, and giant silver foil helium balloons with her double didgets to celebrate her special birthday.
Daphne received lots of cards, sweets and a beautiful orchid from her family. She was so happy to be able to celebrate the afternoon with a visit from her family on her birthday.
We all sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to Daphne and presented her with a yummy cake made by our own cook! She was looking forward to sharing her cake with everyone at tea time with a lovely cup of coffee.
