On Sunday 21 February our residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home got creative and started making decorations in preparation for our next Nellsar Cruise destination – India.
We made pretty hanging decorations to fill our Home with lots of bright colours. We started off decorating cut out Indian elephant pictures using lots of colours and glitter to grab everyone’s attention. We then picked out brightly coloured ribbon and wool, and plaited them together to hang our creations on.
Everyone took great care in making the plaits and designing their elephants, and we had great fun making them.
We’ll now be ready to celebrate when we visit India on 10 March – we can’t wait!
