Puppy love!
On Tuesday 11 April we celebrated National Pet Day here at Woodstock Residential Care Home with a visit from ‘Supporting Paws’ Therapy Dog Milton.
Milton, a golden retriever puppy, melted everyone’s hearts as he was such a friendly, gorgeous dog. We all love when the dogs come to visit us and we love cuddles!
Supporting Paws dogs are in training to support families with children with autism and we are very lucky to have a close connection with them so we can meet their clever dogs.
It was lovely to see so many smiles – thanks for visiting Milton!
Appreciating plants
On Thursday 13 April everyone at Woodstock celebrated International Plant Appreciation Day and we all had a chat over a nice cup of tea about our favourite plants and flowers, reminiscing about our gardening days. This was a great way to get together to exchange stories and advice for what’s best for our plants!
One of our resident’s husbands has been kind enough to bring in some of the tomato plants he’s been growing for us to nurture at Woodstock. We are looking forward to seeing them thrive!
