On Sunday 2 October our residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home enjoyed a therapeutic art session colouring different designs to send to their families.
We had lots of different pictures and patterns to choose from, including flowers, trees and hearts to decorate.
Colouring pencils, watercolour paints and felt tip pens were used to bring our designs to life and our resident artist Joan helped us to set up and was on hand to give tips and advice on using watercolours.
The watercolour paints gave us a more delicate way to paint and needed lots of concentration. Our residents enjoyed exploring this different type of painting and created some beautiful results!
We had lots of compliments from other residents and visitors as we enjoyed a cup of tea and a chat together.
