Last week everyone at Woodstock Residential Care Home celebrated Connie’s 99th and Jonty’s 80th birthday with singer Keeley.
We all had so much fun singing and dancing along to our favourite songs. Keeley dedicated songs ‘my girl’ and ‘my guy’ to the birthday girl and guy with a mixture of songs especially for them both. Jonty requested some of his favourite songs by Cliff Richard and ‘All Shook Up’ by Elvis.
Our residents enjoyed singing their hearts out to make the party extra special. We all loved wearing our party hats that we had worked hard to make for this amazing day and all felt privileged to join in with the celebrations. Connie and Jonty had big smiles on their faces throughout and said they were surprised to have a party thrown for them.
Keeley, staff and friends at Woodstock sang ‘Happy birthday’ to both Connie and Jonty as their gorgeous cakes were presented, made by our fantastic catering team – thank you Lynn and Sebastian!
Both were lucky enough to have two cakes – one on the day of their birthday and another to share out for the big birthday bash.
Many happy returns to them both!
