Some of our residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home have been busy outside this week, keeping up with some garden maintenance.
Our ladies have enjoyed sweeping up the leaves and brushing down the cobwebs to keep our garden looking beautiful.
We thoroughly cleaned and wiped all the tables (putting in a bit of elbow grease!) and then we gave the plants a bit of ‘tlc’ by de-weeding, deadheading and watering.
After tidying up, it looked amazing and we were very ready to enjoy the sunshine with a lovely cup of tea. Everyone was proud of how much the garden looked refreshed and was happy to show others what work that had been doing.
Our residents love to help with keeping their home neat and tidy and this has a big impact on their sense of self esteem. Well done to all of our keen gardeners!
