Our residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home have been starting to prepare for Christmas this week by creating some fabulous Christmas trees out of paper plates.
We first had to cut the plates into 3 pieces and then stick them together to form a tree shape. We then painted them green and used festive colours to create tinsel and baubles on them, making them twinkle by adding a variety of coloured glitter to them.
A tree trunk was added to each one and a piece of ribbon, ready for them to be hung up around our Home.
We all enjoyed doing this activity together whilst listening to some Christmas music and having a sing along. One of our residents even said she felt like a little elf making Christmas all magical!
Our handmade decorations will look wonderful displayed around Woodstock over the festive period.
