On Friday 12 January, with passports at the ready, our residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home set off for their first virtual cruise destination – Hong Kong.
Our ladies and gents had great fun spending the day travelling to Hong Kong on ‘H.M.S Woodstock‘ cruise ship, having their photos taken and enjoying their welcome mocktails and beer onboard ship!
Later in the day we docked at Hong Kong and enjoyed some Chinese food to celebrate Chinese New Year.
We watched a traditional dance by a Chinese Dragon, who gave out lucky envelopes with good wishes inside them and gold coins too, and our staff team wore Chinese outfits to really look the part.
After a fun filled day, we set sail to our next destination, which is India. We’re looking forward to arriving there next month for more adventures!
