On Wednesday 19 January, our Woodstock Residential Care Home residents and staff were preparing for celebrating Australia Day on Wednesday 26 January.
We had a lovely afternoon colouring everything Australian to decorate our Home for the day’s celebrations next week; cheerful kangaroos and crocodiles, designing our own boomerangs, turtles and Australian flags.
This was a relaxing activity and was very therapeutic as we were concentrating hard on colouring in our pictures. We had a lovely chat and reminisced about last year’s Australia Day at Woodstock.
We are looking forward to what the day brings next week and the events we have planned!
