Last week at Woodstock Residential Care Home we had the pleasure of meeting a selection of animals from River’s Rodents and Reptiles.
River’s Rodents and Reptiles provides animal handling sessions for individuals and community groups, supporting people of all ages in meeting animals they would not normally experience, whilst also promoting sensory development.
We all held a lizard, rat, snake, tortoise and a Guinea pig, whilst listening to fun facts. Our ladies and gents were fascinated by the different sizes and textures of each animal.
Everyone asked lots of questions and learnt new information about these creatures.
