A wish upon a line…
Residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home are slowly making their way through their ‘wishing lines’ where staff go out of their way to help their residents tick things off their bucket lists.
Betty loves a man in uniform and wanted to meet a Fireman so the ladies at Woodstock helped this wish come true by getting in touch with Sittingbourne Fire Station.
A group of Firefighters made Betty’s day by popping by and staying for tea and cake last Friday – they even stopped for a photo-op too!
Much to her delight, Betty got to put on their hat and coat and have her picture taken by the fire engine – she absolutely loved it.
