Last week at Woodstock Residential Care Home we celebrated Carers Week by creating thank you notes and writing messages of thanks inside them for our staff team.
Our residents then gifted each of our staff members with a little parcel of sweets all wrapped up with their thank you note attached. This brought a big smile to everyone’s faces!
Our residents messages were also written inside a big thank you card for our staff and put up in the office for everyone to read.
Some of the heartfelt words included:
‘Thank you for looking after us’
‘Thank you for all you do. God bless you all and keep being you’
and
‘Thank you for your hard work and looking after me’
We also had a very special visit from a resident who stays with us for respite care, as he wanted to gift our staff with some chocolates for this very special week. How thoughtful!
