Our Woodstock Residential Care Home residents have been creating decorations to put around our Home to make it feel more Christmassy.
We decided that we were going to make some reindeer pictures using our hands for antlers. We painted our hands brown and then pressed them onto some white paper – painting our hands was good fun and felt ticklish! We then stuck reindeer faces on and added a bit of glitter for that festive sparkle. We have now proudly displayed our pictures around our Home.
Our residents have also worked on creating some stained glass windows in the shapes of snowflakes, presents and Christmas trees. We cut up all different colours of tissue paper and clear plastic to create some beautiful and bright displays.
Lastly, we have coloured in some wooden baubles ready to hand out at our Christmas market later this month. We were all very imaginative and got to make up our own designs using different shapes and colours.
Everybody has enjoyed helping to decorate Woodstock ready for our visitors, and seeing our creations displayed around our Home.
