Our residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home came together for a flower arranging session on Thursday 28 September.
They loved seeing all the different types of flowers on offer and worked hard to get their perfect bouquet.
We used oasis, recycled tubs and vases to hold our arrangements, ensuring the flowers had a good environment to stay fresh for a long period.
We chatted and learnt about each other’s favourite flowers and about our own experiences of growing flowers and gardening. Everyone commented on how lovely and colourful the flowers were and they had so many compliments from other residents, as their displays were so gorgeous!
Everyone loved arranging these flowers, knowing they would be displayed around our Home brightening up our dining rooms and lounges with their mesmerising colours and patterns.
Well done everyone on your beautiful arrangements, you should be very proud!
