Furloughed Friends at Woodstock Residential Care Home

While some of our staff her at Woodstock Residential Care Home have been furloughed and need to spend time isolating at home before being able to come back to work, it is really important for them to still feel part of the team.

Having created a special chat group on WhatsApp, we can keep in touch with our furloughed friends on a regular basis and find out what they have been up to. Sandy Ware, Administrator at the Home, sent a message to Sandra Austin to say,

“I hope you’re OK and doing well! We want to make sure you know you’re still very much a part of us here at Woodstock, despite not being able to be here at this time.”

Sandra replied,

“Thank you for your email Sandy. It’s nice to see what’s going on – not only at Woodstock but other Homes as well. Apart from missing you all and the garden, I have kept busy. I have made a baby blanket for Hayley and am now knitting a baby jacket. Also, I have painted my garden on canvas – I don’t think it will be hanging in the Tate gallery any time soon. I have also been keeping my hand in doing my garden. Miss you all xx.”
