Kitchen Club
On Sunday 14 May a small group of our residents here at Woodstock Residential Care Home got together to make some tasty, savoury snacks for everyone to enjoy.
Firstly, we started off cutting out filo pastry sheets into long strips – carefully with a steady hand. Next, we placed hot dogs onto the pastry and rolled them up – almost like they were in blankets!
We then placed them onto baking trays and cooked them in the oven – they smelt delicious while they were cooking.
We enjoyed chatting about our favourite bakes to make, and we formed a list together about what we plan to make in our next baking session. We then had a lovely cup of tea with our homemade sausage rolls!
They were very yummy!
