Our residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home had a lovely treat last week when we celebrated National Dark Chocolate Day together on Wednesday 1 February – yum!
National Dark Chocolate Day is an opportunity to praise the health and happiness that dark chocolate brings and pay homage to the history and cultural significance surrounding this decadent treat.
This chocolately celebration day also reminds us to indulge a little (or maybe a lot!) – if you are a dark chocolate lover, this is one day you don’t want to miss!
We had a variety of chocolate on offer for our residents to taste including dark chocolate KitKats, Maltesers, Bournville chocolate and drinking chocolate, plus boxes of classic dark Pergale chocolates.
Everyone loved this activity and there were smiles and sticky fingers all round. Delicious!
