Resolutions for 2023
Our residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home got in the spirit of New Year’s Day by saying what their resolutions were for the new year and having fun with a photo shoot wearing 2023 glasses!
We had some lovely resolutions suggested and some that made us laugh….
Jonty said he would like to pass his driving test
Derek wants to ‘drink more beer!’
Ben wishes to be a footballer
Wendy said she’d like to stay happy like she is now
Marion said she wants to do more cleaning
Muriel wants ‘to be thinner!’
Balloon tennis
Our residents at Woodstock got competitive in a game of balloon tennis this week. They got into teams and our staff joined in, taking turns to count the score.
Everyone had lots of fun and there was lots of laughter. We used tennis rackets and noodles to hit the balloons over the net – a great way to exercise our arms and have fun at the same time!
